The internet was buzzing this morning with rumors that George Clooney had finally proposed to girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. What got the buzz going? Pictures surfaced of Canalis at dinner sporting a new sparkly gem on her engagement finger.

Ladies around the world, rejoice! A rep told People that the ring was actually a napkin.

George Clooney has revealed that most actors look down on reality TV stars.

The Syriana star said an informal hierarchy exists in the profession, but no one respects celebrities who have no discernible talent.

He said: "There is a strange pecking order among actors. Theatre actors look down on film actors, who look down on TV actors. Thank God for reality shows, or we wouldn't have anybody to look down on."

Clooney, who found fame on TV show ER, recently admitted that he feared for his Hollywood career after he starred in 1997 movie Batman and Robin.

Accompanied by his parents, George Clooney was made the U.N. Messenger of Peace at the United Nations building in New York yesterday. He received a certificate and then answered global questions that were asked by the media.

Britney Spears has caused George Clooney to move out of his Hollywood Hills home! For the full and funny story.... Actor George Clooney is reportedly moving out of his house and he blames Britney Spears.

Clooney revealed that he only realised the popstar lived so close when he heard the helicopters over her house on the day she was taken to hospital earlier this month.

The Hollywood star believed someone had broken out of prison because of the noise being created and told Newsweek that he was now planning to leave his Los Angeles home.

"I think, 'Someone's broken out of prison...' I get my baseball bat, which is what you always get in every film, and I called up my assistant, who I thought was in my guesthouse.


The actor/director revealed he quickly realised his home wasn't at risk, but that he was living near Spears.

He joked: "So now I have to move."

When asked by photographers Thursday how she felt about actor Heath Ledger’s death, Britney Spears replied in her British accent, “He’s still here. Oh, yes. No one ever really dies. No one.”

She went on to say, “I’m already very sick — but in a good way,” she said after she was asked by photographers if she needed a sweater to keep bare shoulders warm in the rain.

The pictures above were taken last night where Britney Spears invited photogs into one of her favorite spots - a public restroom! She proceeded to pretend to talk on a pay phone. The singer also went for a late night workout at 1 in the morning and left at three after two hours inside. NUTS!
