The Man And His Lucky Woman
Johnny Depp and his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis worked the red carpet at the Academy Awards together as expected last night. As usual, all eyes were on the shy and humble Johnny Depp who still ended the night without an Oscar. His day will come eventually!
A Match Made In Orgy Heaven
Ain't It Cool News is reporting that the actors chosen to star in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus are Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp. DROOL!!!
If you recall, Heath Ledger was filming this movie when he passed. Heath will still be in the movie and the other actors will be playing a sort of tribute to him. The movie is looking at a 2009 release and I can't wait!
Replacing Heath
If you can recall, at the time of Heath Ledger's death, he was working on a film called "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" which was directed by Terry Gilliam. Heath's death obviously threw a wrench in the whole thing and the whole crew was fired. Now it's being reported that Johnny Depp will take Heath Ledger's place in the film.
It saddens me that Heath just died and they are already trying to replace him. It just goes to show that at the end of the day, Hollywood is just a cold and heartless business.
